FreeCell Game Variations

When FreeCell is the selected solitaire game, the following game rule variations will be available under the Rules menu:
Rule 1 - Standard FreeCell
Four FreeCells are available and the cards are dealt randomly.
Rule 2 - Easy
Four FreeCells are available and the cards are shuffled in such a way that low ranking card are dealt towards the exposed end of the tableau columns rather than being buried deep. This makes the game easier and so the bonus has been lowered.
Rule 3 - Hard
Four FreeCells are available and the cards are shuffled in such a way that low ranking cards are dealt early on, burying them deeper within the tableau columns. This makes the game more difficult.
Rule 4 - Three FreeCells
With fewer FreeCells available, the game can be made more difficult. Only three FreeCells are available in this game rule, instead of four and the cards are dealt randomly. Even with three FreeCells, analysis of the first 32,000 Microsoft FreeCell game numbers have shown that around 99.3% of games can still be won.
Rule 5 - Two FreeCells
Two FreeCells are available and the cards are dealt randomly. This reduces the win rate to around 78%
Rule 6 - One FreeCell
Only one FreeCell is available and the cards are dealt randomly. This reduces the win rate to around 19%
Rule 7 - Enter Game Number
This rule lets you play the exact same deal every time. You can enter a game number between 0 and 4294967295 and you will be dealt a particular card layout based on that game number. The very first version of Microsoft FreeCell allowed you to enter a game number between 0 and 32000 which has been increased to 100000 in more recent versions. If you enter a game number between 0 and 100000, you will be able to play the exact same card layout as a Microsoft FreeCell game number. Numbers above 100000 will be unique to Solitaire City. It would be unfair to allow a scoring system for this type of game as you could simply practice the same deal over and over again until you were able to complete it in record time. Therefore, the timed scoring system has been removed for Rule 7.
