| Rule 1 - Deal 7 Columns of 5 | |
| 7 columns of 5 cards each are dealt to the play area. One of the 7 exposed tableau cards may be used to start the waste pile. This is a nice, fast variation that comes out around every 4 attempts with good play. | |
| Rule 2 - 7 Columns, No Turning Corners | |
| This variation is exactly the same as Rule 1, except you can't turn the corner, so Kings can't be built on Aces and nothing can be built on a King, not even a Queen. | |
| Rule 3 - Deal 6 Columns of 6 | |
| 6 columns of 6 cards each are dealt to the play area. A card is automatically dealt from the stock to form the waste pile at the start of the game. This makes the game much more difficult, coming out about every 15 games. | |
| Rule 4 - 6 Columns, No Turning Corners | |
| This variation is exactly the same as Rule 3, except you can't turn the corner, so Kings can't be built on Aces and nothing can be built on a King, not even a Queen. | |
